The much-awaited Minion Land opening date has been officially announced by Universal Orlando.

Universal Orlando Resort has finally revealed the long-awaited opening date for Minion Land, and it's just around the corner! According to a press release, the exciting new land will officially open at Universal Studios on August 11. As of now, guests can already get a sneak peek during its preview stage.

Minion Land promises an immersive experience filled with mischievous fun for visitors of all ages. The Despicable Me Minion Mayhem attraction, a beloved favorite, will be there to entertain guests, along with the brand-new Illumination's Villain-Con Minion Blast.

This thrilling new blast attraction invites Minion enthusiasts to test their skills and find out if they have what it takes to join The Vicious 6, the notorious group of super villains from the hit movie, Minions: The Rise of Gru. As part of the experience, guests will navigate through the convention, exploring the trade show floor with the latest gadgets, vehicles, and fashion. Armed with an "E-Liminator X" blaster, they'll compete against friends and family on a moving pathway to prove their villainous prowess.

Of course, the gastronomic delights in Minion Land are truly out of this world. Illumination's Minion Cafe, Bake My Day, Pop-A-Nana, and Freeze Ray Pops are all offering delicious, unique, and refreshing treats for everyone to enjoy.

And that's not all! Guests will have the incredible opportunity to meet their favorite characters from the Despicable Me movies, including the adorable Minions, Gru, Margo, Edith, and Agnes. Additionally, characters from Sing, such as Rosita, Gunter, and Johnny, will also be making appearances.
